Our Support Services

START UP

Initial Consultation
This service is designed to be educational in nature and includes consultation to review business objectives, program readiness and referral resources as appropriate.

Diversity 101
A workshop designed to provide an overview of diversity, including but not limited to an overview of government contracting requirements, covered entities and implications for corporations and small businesses. This workshop is facilitated via web seminar or face-to-face.

THE BUSINESS CASE
In addition to just being "the right thing to do", leveraging diversity makes good business sense. This service is designed to help practitioners examine the value proposition for diversity. It includes but is not limited to a planning session, charter development, and executive presentation.

ASSESSMENT

Program Assessment
This service is designed to help the practitioner compare characteristics of a best-in-class diversity program and helps identify current state, future state, and critical business challenges. It includes but is not limited to system and process reviews, sample metrics, and "next step" recommendations / action plan.

DEVELOPMENT / IMPLEMENTATION

Program Development / Implementation
Based on the results of the Program Assessment, this service is designed to assist the practitioner with the program development and implementation process. Since the goal is to build internal capacity, at this point, the practitioner is encouraged to explore the Inside Diversity Do-It-Yourself Diversity (DIYD) option and tools.

STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
Our (optional) outreach service is provided for practitioners to help jump-start and build essential business relationships.

CONTRACTING
Federal government and many state regulations require major (prime) contractors to make efforts to subcontract portions of their contracts to small business and MWBE’s. In addition, many government contracts require affirmative action compliance for covered entities. This (optional) service is provided as a resource to help practitioners leverage compliance (connect the dots) or create standard language / contract narrative to effectively articulate the organizations’ commitment to stimulate economic development (social responsibility) in the communities where they live and work.

TOOL KIT
For those who desire to do it themselves, the DIYD (Do-it-Yourself-Diversity) Toolkit (if used effectively), can move the process from Assessment to Development / Implementation at a substantial cost savings. With education, we believe inside the organization lies a world of endless possibilities because many organizations already have what they need. The Toolkit is designed to help the practitioner move from the anecdotal business case statistics to quantifiable results by leveraging the four business value streams (workforce, supplier, customer, and community). It includes but is not limited to executive presentations, charters, recruiting strategies (sourcing), staffing, selection, development, compliance, supplier diversity, marketing, community outreach, and more!
